It’s too early to conclude Akufo-Addo hasn’t performed – Lucky Mensah
Ghanaian highlife musician, Lucky Mensah has revealed that it is too early in the day for Ghanaians to conclude that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has not performed.
He argues that the President still has about three years of his mandate in the second term and will only be judged if he is done with his second term which ends in 2024.
Speaking on a local Television station, Obibini TV he urged Ghanaians to exercise some restraint and see what is in store for them in the next three years before drawing a general conclusion he has ill-performed
“Nana Akufo-Addo has not finished his term; if you tell me he is not performing, that is how you see things; he is left with three years, let us allow him to finish his whole term to be able to come up with an assessment,” he noted.
It would be recalled that in 2016, the Aduu Sumo Akwadu hitmaker threw his support behind then-candidate Nana Akufo-Addo after being disillusioned by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In the runup to the 2020 pols, Lucky Mensah said the NPP and President Akufo-Addo have his full support and subsequently went ahead to release a song titled Nana Toaso in which he encouraged the President to continue with his good works.
