Shatta Wale is a machine

Shatta Wale (1)

Artiste Manager Bulldog has described Shatta Wale as one of the hardest-working artistes he has encountered, insisting that discipline, not just talent, has sustained his success.

“One thing you cannot take away from Shatta is work,” he said in an interview on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh. “The guy is a machine. He’s a workaholic.”

According to Bulldog, the artist records constantly and has a large catalogue of unreleased material.

“If Shatta stops today, we can release albums for the next 30 years,” he claimed. “He has so much material sitting on hard drives.”

He drew a distinction between talent and effort.

“Talent is different from work. If talent slows down, work will always beat it,” he said. “If you don’t put in the work, you won’t get anywhere.”

On their past public disagreements, Bulldog confirmed the issues were real but not unusual.

“People fight,” he stated. “We don’t fake anything.”

He said their differences have long been resolved and they remain on good terms.

“The last time I spoke to him was in Kumasi. We vibed. We’re cool,” he revealed.

Addressing a past incident where he released a list of Shatta’s songs during a dispute, Bulldog said it was a response rather than a promotional stunt.

“Everything I did was a response. I wasn’t working with him, so I couldn’t have known anything secret. Those were songs he himself had already mentioned publicly,” he explained.

Despite their clashes, Bulldog emphasized that his affection for the artist remains intact.

“I don’t believe love dies,” he said. “We could grow apart, but love only grows stronger.”

For him, disagreements are part of human relationships.

“You go home and fight with your siblings. It’s normal,” he added.
