I stopped eating meat after I underwent surgery – Adina reveals
Award-winning Ghanaian born South African singer Adina Thembi says she has stopped eating meat after she had to undergo surgery after she was diagnosed with fibroid.
“I stopped eating meat after I went for surgery to remove a fibroid from my body. I did that because, after the surgery, I went to look at it and it was like meat”.Adina told Hammer Nti on the show Hammer Time monitored by MyNewsGH.com.
“I was told red meat contributes to the development of fibroid so I’m like I have to stop. I don’t know how true it is but since 2021, I haven’t eaten red meat”, she stressed.
Adina also said her fibroid made her look like she was pregnant and that got her a bit worried but had to go on with her music career.
