2021/22 GHPL: Karela United given seven-day break

Karela United players have been given a seven-day break by the management of the club ahead of the commencement of the second round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League which kicks off on February 25, 2022.

The team will resume full training on February 20 to began preparations for the next round.

Karela finished the first round of the league on 7th place with 25 points after 17 matches played so far.

Mathew Kelvin Andoh dealt WAFA a huge blow in Sogakope as he scored in the 81st minute to give Karela United a 1-0 win against WAFA in their final game of the first round.

The short break, according to the club is necessary as it aimed at helping the players rest well.

Karela United will travel to Dormaa for their match week 18 clash with Aduana Stars when the second round begins.
