Asamoah Gyan blasts ‘NONSENSE’ Ghana squad without in-form Majeed Ashmeru
Following the exclusion of in-form Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashmeru from the Ghana squad to face Nigeria, former Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan the has blasted the list, describing it as ‘nonsense.’

In a tweet that has generated over 2k retweets and more than 3k likes in less than an hour, Gyan feels the list is incomplete without the Anderlecht midfielder.
“This guy, Majeed Ashmeru is the best midfielder in Ghana after Thomas Partey PERIOD. I have kept quiet on this but this nonsense must stop. Smh,” Gyan tweeted after the list was made public.
