Ashantigold will beat Hearts of Oak at all cost- Richard Osei Agyemang
Ashantigold defender Richard Osei Agyemang is anticipating a tough game against Hearts of Oak but is confident the Miners will emerge victorious in the match day 19 encounter.
The game, scheduled for the Len Clay stadium on Saturday, will be broadcasted live on StarTimes Adepa channel 247.
The Miners began the second round with a gallant away display that earned them one point against Karela United at Aiyinase.
A win against Hearts of Oak would be their first in four games following three defeats and one draw in their last three games.
Ashanti Gold have won 9 times in their last 25 meetings with Hearts of Oak.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben FM ahead of the encounter, Agyemang said, “It is going to be a tough game but we will beat them because we need to win our remaining matches.
This time we are going to win all our home games in the second round at all cost because we want to win the league. We didn’t have a good first round. Therefore, we have to correct things and get the needed points in the second round.”
He continued that, “We are not worried about Patrick Razak or their attackers, we will beat them. We have players that I don’t want to mention names but we will beat them. Paul Asare will play, during his time at Wa All Stars he always scored against Hearts. He will score and we will beat them.”
