Black Satellites to participate in Toulon tournament in France after 15-years absence
Ghana’s U-20 team, the Black Satellites will be participating in the 2022 Toulon tournament in France.
The U-20 Toulon tournament returns after two-year break due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic.
The 2022 edition of the tournament is scheduled for May 29 to June 12.
Ghana last participated in the tournament 15 years ago and will be making a return to the event for this year’s edition.
The West African side has been pitted against Mexico, Venezuela and Indonesia in Group B.
The Black Satellites take on Mexico in their opening game on May 30.
The Black Satellites following their abysmal performance in the WAFU U20 Championship are still in camp preparing for the tournament.
Ghana failed to defend the WAFU B Championship in Niger and being booted out from group stage.
