Asante Kotoko under no pressure ahead of Karela United game – Coach Prosper Narteh
Asante Kotoko trainer Prosper Narteh Ogum says his outfit is not under pressure ahead of their clash with Karela United on Sunday.
The Pride of the West will play host to the Porcupine Warriors at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in matchday 5 of the Ghana Premier League.
Karela United have had a slow start to the season winning just one game after four matches whereas Kotoko have four wins in the opening four matches.
Ahead of their clash with Karela United, the former WAFA coach insists the side are under no pressure and has therefore urged all Kotoko fans to support the team since they are in transition period.
“There is no pressure on us and we are taking it cool as we prepare for the game on Sunday. We take it match after the match so there is no pressure on us.”
“I think they [fans] should keep their cool and calm. They should be patient and should try as much as possible to be supportive as they have always been,” he stated.
“It is a game model we are trying to develop for Asante Kotoko and it’s a blend of old and new guys. So I am appealing to them to be supportive as they have always and also trust the process.”
