Black Stars wallop Soccer Intellectuals 8-0 in friendly ahead of Zimbabwe World Cup qualifier
Black Stars defeated Division One side Soccer Intellectuals 8-0 in a training match at the Cape Coast Stadium on Wednesday.
Milovan Rajevac’s side walloped the second tier side with a comfortable win ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification match against Zimbabwe.
Kamaldeen Sulemana and Fatawu Isshaku both scored twice on the day.
Other goalscorers were Benjamin Tetteh, Mohammed Kudus, Yaw Yeboah and Joel Fameye.
Black Stars scored four in the first half and replicated the same number in the second department with Soccer Intellectuals restricted to half chances.
Under-fire attacker Jordan Ayew missed a penalty on the day
Ghana will be hoping for victory against Zimbabwe in Cape Coast on October 9. Both teams will come up against each again in Harare next week Tuesday.
