Electroland Ghana donates $10k to to support national teams

Electroland Ghana Limited has donated US$ 10, 000 to support Ghana’s AFCON 2021 and FIFA World Cup 2022 projects.

The donation was made to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and falls in line with attempts to raise a substantial amount of money to help Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars in its quest to have a glorious campaign at the AFCON 2021 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar next year.

The Government of Ghana has budgeted $25 million dollars for the Black Stars’ Africa Cup of Nations and FIFA World Cup campaigns as well as for other programmes of the national teams.

Ghana President, H. E. Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo donated a seed money of US$ 10million to support the project in April this year.

He went ahead to invite support from corporate Ghana and well-meaning individuals to also donate to support the cause.

Subsequently, some corporate institutions have made donations and the latest is Electroland Ghana.

The presentation was made to the Sports Ministry in a short ceremony in Accra on Wednesday.
