Exclusive: Lower-tier Belgian side Kabouters Opglabbeek signs Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Kumordzi

Lower-tier Belgian outfit Kabouters Opglabbeek have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Kumordzi.

The 36-year-old has not played football in the last three years after his doping ban.

Kumordzi was caught using banned substances in the 2017-2018 season which led to his ban.

Before his ban, the Ghanaian midfielder became a club legend for Belgian club KRC Genk featuring over 120 times between 2012 and 2017.

He is mostly remembered by his match winning goal for Genk in the Belgian Cup final against Cercle Brugge.

The former Genk midfielder has joined Kabouters Opglabbeek side to revive his career in the ongoing campaign.
