Football can assist in hospitality agenda of Ghana – GFA President Kurt Okraku

President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has mentioned that the football industry needs an unwavering support from all and sundry to attain the desired results.
President Simeon-Okraku said this on Tuesday, March 09, when players and officials of the triumphant Black Satellites squad called on H.E Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, President of the Republic, to present to him the AFCON trophy and other individual awards that was won at the Total U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Mauritania.
“It’s also true that if Association football gets absolute and maximum support, not only from government but also from the public sector, Football can take Ghana into millions of homes. he said
“Football can also assist in our hospitality or tourism strategy. Football perhaps is the most powerful tool that touches every heart in the world.
“Football brings everybody together and it is our hope that your mission of ensuring that all our national team coaches are paid monthly will see the light of day.
“Our coaches are ready to go the extra mile to bring glory, our players are ready and the management is ready ”. President Okraku added.
Ghana beat Uganda 2-0 in the final to win a record fourth African U-20 title.
