GFA License D Coaching course begins in Kumasi
The Ghana Football Association License D Coaching course for the Ashanti Region began on Monday, May 10, 2021.
Participants of the course have been grouped into three batches with the first batch running from May 10 -17. The second batch will have their turn from May 18-25, while the third batch runs from May 27 – June 3, 2021 at the Regional Secretariat in Kumasi.

General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association Prosper Harrison Addo opened the three week Course on Monday. Also present was Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Football Association Osei Tutu Agyemang and other Regional Executives.

The License D course is being organised by the Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association in collaboration with the Ashanti Regional Football Association.

One hundred and ten (110) football coaches drawn from various Districts in the Region will take part in the course. Director of Coaching Education Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah and GFA Technical Director Bernhard Lippert are the two main drivers of the course with support from Coaches Frimpong Manso, Joyce Boatey and Samuel Fabin – as course Instructors.

The Coaching Course is to equipment participants on the development of young footballers, methods of coaching, administration of first aid among others.
