Ghana defender Gideon Mensah hailed for goal line clearance against Nice

Ghana international Gideon Mensah put up a splendid performance for Bordeaux in their 1-0 defeat to Nice over the weekend.

The 23-year-old scored full marks for his goal line clearance in their match week 35 encounter.

The Ghana international who had a descent game saved his outfit on the 9^th minute when cleared a ball from the goal line.

After a big mistake by Costil, Nice forward Kasper Dolberg struck in front of the empty goal but Mensah managed to get out at the last moment.

He has therefore been hailed by the French media for his sterling performance for Bordeaux despite the defeat to Nice at home.

Despite his outstanding performance his outfit could not negotiate for a point as they suffer a 1-0 defeat at the end.
