Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila scores on Muaither SC debut against Lusail SC
Ghana international Rashid Sumaila had more to celebrate for on Thursday afternoon as he scored on his Muaither SC debut to help the side cruise to a big win.
The defender recently joined the Qatari Second Division club having last played for Qadsia SC.
On his debut today, Rashid Sumaila appeared unplayable as he used his experienced to marshal the defense of his new club.
In a game against Lusail SC where Muaither SC cruised to a rampant 3-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes, the Ghana centre-back netted the second goal for his team.
Courtesy of the victory today, Muaither SC have moved to 8th on the Qatari Second Division log.
After his debut delight, Rashid Sumaila is expected to boom with a lot of confidence as the ongoing season progresses.
In the past, the 29-year-old played for Asante Kotoko, Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as Al-Gharafa.
