Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye training with Mexican outfit Club Tijuana as he eyes a return to club
Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye is currently training with Club Tijuana as he eyes a return to the club.
The 27-year-old is now a free agent after being released by Mexican Liga MX side Club Puebla after just a season into the three-year contract he signed in January 2021.
In his quest to find a new club, the former Ghana U-20 captain has began training with his former outfit, Club Tijuana.
Aboagye, who is looking for an opportunity at Club Tijuana may be registered for the 2022 Liga MX season if he manages to impress the coaching staff since the club has the chance to add two free agents to their squad before March 9, 2022.
The Ghanaian international has featured for a host of clubs in Mexico since 2017.
He had his first stint with Atlas in 2017 before Querétaro, Tijuana and Club Puebla.
