Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Mensah joins Iraqi top-flight side Naft Missan
Ghanaian midfielder Solomon Mensah has joined Iraqi top-flight side Naft Missan SC.
Mensah has signed a one-year renewable contract after passing his medical examination.
The 29-year-old joined on a free transfer after leaving Egyptian Premier League outfit Aswan SC after the 2020-21 season.
Mensah featured in 24 games for Aswan in the Egyptian top-flight League.
The defensive midfielder who can also play as a center back moved to Egypt in January 2020 after a short-term spell at Lebanese club Shabab Sahel.
Mensah won the Ghana FA Cup with Bechem United in 2015 before travelling abroad.
