Ghana’s Kamaldeen Sulemana receives standing ovation from Stade Rennais fans after splendid debut
Ghana international, Kamaldeen Sulemana was given a standing ovation last Sunday by Stade Rennais FC fans following his spectacular debut for the club in the French Ligue 1.
The attacker signed from FC Nordsjaelland this summer played his first competitive game for the French club in the opening game of the new season against Lens when the two teams shared the spoils.
On the matchday, the forward started for Rennais and scored with a splendid effort after just 14 minutes into the first half.
Impressed with the displays of the 19-year-year-old, fans of Stade Rennais FC gave Kamaldeen Sulemana a standing ovation.
According to his teammate Benjamin Bourigeaud, he could have won the game for the side if he had played the entire duration of the match.
After a very good first outing in the French Ligue 1, the Ghana star has been named in the Team of the Week for Week One.
He has been tipped to be a key asset for Stade Rennais FC this season.
