GPL 21/22: Bechem defender Osei Kuffour wins MOTM in Kotoko defeat
Bechem United defender Samuel Osei Kuffour won the Man of the Match award in his side’s 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
Both sides went into the game on the back of thumping wins on the opening day and were looking to continue their decent start to the season.
It was Kotoko however, that will carry the day as late goals from Abdul Ganiyu and Samuel Boateng handed the Porcupine Warriors all three points.
Bechem United defender, Osei Kuffour was a stalwart at the back for the Hunters who held their own until the last 5 minutes of the game where they conceded two late goals.
Osei Kuffour marshalled the Hunters backline and thwarted every attempt from the Kotoko attacking machinery until they finally made the breakthrough.
