Heart –Kotoko clash: Spiritually powerful side will win – Sarfo Gyamfi

Legendary Ghanaian football player, Sarfo Gyamfi has said only a spiritually prepared and powerful side will emerge winner of the clash between the leading premier league clubs, Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Heart of Oak tomorrow.
According to him, a clash between the two clubs had never been ordinary since time in memorial and so shall it be when the two lock horns on Sunday, June 27 at the Accra Sport Stadium.
He noted the use of spiritual powers popularly referred to as juju in the Ghanaian football setting was not a just speculation but a reality lived by in the industry adding the side who is not spiritually prepared would be bruised in tomorrow’s match.
Sarfo Gyamfi, an Asante Kotoko legend made the comment on GPL Express on TV3 monitored by GhanaPlus.com.
“There is ‘juju’ in football because we don’t play Kotoko and heart with form, spiritually who is powerful will win the match”.
“This coming Sunday it will be a tough match. A player who doesn’t have a spiritual background , it will affect you but those who have spiritual background, any time praying and doing these things it will not but those who do not have spiritual background it will affect you,” he said.
Heart of Oak, Kotoko clash tomorrow
The leading premier league clubs, Accra based Hearts of Oak and Kumasi based Asante Kotoko face off in what promises to be a fiery clash on Sunday, June 27 at the Accra Sport Stadium.
The match, a title decider to separate the two sides currently tied up on point on the league table already had all tickets sold within an hour.
Report said some 10,000 supporters , represent 25 % of the stadium’s capacity are expected to watch the match live at the host stadium in Accra.
