I had a lot of problems when I faced Kamaldeen Sulemana – PSG defender Nuno Mendes confesses
Paris Saint-Germain defender, Nuno Mendes has confessed that he had a tough time when he faced Kamaldeen Sulemana in the game against Stade Rennais.
In October, Rennais hosted PSG in the first of the two meetings between the sides in the 2021/2022 French Ligue 1 campaign.
On the matchday, Ghana teenager Kamaldeen Sulemana excelled and helped his team to record a 2-0 win against the giants.
Speaking on his experience from that match, Nuno Mendes who played in defense for PSG says it was terrible against the dribbling sensation Kamaldeen Suleman.
“It [the French Ligue 1] is a very competitive championship. In La Liga, the matches were difficult, but here it is even harder. You don’t win a game easily, even if you have good players.
“There are a lot of good, well-organized teams and very fast and technical players. There is a player who caused me a lot of problems, it is (Kamaldeen) Sulemana from Rennes,” Nuno shared.
Two months on, the Portuguese says he is now settled and adapting to the game in France.
