Goalkeeper Richard Ofori stars as as Orlando Pirates beat Royal Leopards in Confederation Cup
Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori returns from injury to keep a clean sheet in the CAF Confederation Cup competition at home in Johannesburg.
Ofori has been out of action for months due to an injury.
The injury kept him out of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations [AFCON] in Cameroon.
However, the former WA All Stars shot-stopper made a return to play for the Black and Whites outfit in their 3-0 win over Eswatini champions Royal Leopards FC.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, the Bucs turned on the screws in the second half and hit the visitors for three to go top of the group with nine points from a possible 12.
The Ghanaian played full throttle for his team as they brush aside their opponents with a commanding show at home.
Ofori could return to the yet to be announced Ghana squad for the crucial encounter against Nigeria later this month for a place in the next FIFA World Cup tournament.
