Karela Sniper Taylor gunning for GPL Player of the Month Award
Karela United top striker Diawusie Taylor has received a deserving nomination for the Player of the Month Award for the Ghana Premier League for January 2021.
Taylor has been rich on form for the Nzema-based side as they have risen to the top of the GPL standings. The 21 year old has been tormenting defenses during this period while helping his side record impressive results.
In the month of January, Taylor scored a total of four goals with a brace in the game against Berekum Chelsea and a goal each against Elmina Sharks and Medeama. He also assisted his team mates twice in the month and emerged as won one MVP award.
He has now moved top of the scoring chart while his goals have helped secure 10 out of 15 points for his side.

Taylor will fight for the award with competition from Daniel Lomotey who has left GPL side WAFA for ES Setif.
Great Olympic’s Maxwell Nii Abbey Quaye and Elmina Sharks’ James Bissue are the other nominees.
The Winner will be announced on Wednesday February 10.
