Mariano Barreto names Asante Kotoko squad for Bechem United clash
Asante Kotoko Head Coach Mariano Barreto has announced his squad for the upcoming clash with Bechem United.
The Porcupine Warriors face the Hunters in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture on Wednesday at the latter’s newly adopted home venue; the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi.
Kotoko are approaching the game with all seriousness in a bid to secure 3 points to aid their quest of closing the gap on the top spot.
Following their recent draw with Eleven Wonders, Kotoko find themselves 5 behind league leaders Great Olympics and know a win will help their cause.
In ensuring this objective comes to fruition, Head Coach Mariano Barreto has named an 18-man squad to do the battle against Bechem.
Goalkeepers Felix Annan and Razak Abalora have been selected while new striker Andy Kumi Francis is also part.
New Brazilian striker Michael Vinicius could be in line for his debut after being named in the list alongside compatriot Fabio Gama who netted his first goal for the club in the draw against Eleven Wonders.
