Match Report – Bechem United 1-1 Ebusua Dwarfs – Hafiz Konkoni strikes late to keep his side home invincibility intact

Hafiz Konkoni scored a late goal to earned his side’s a point at home in the first round of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The visitors after taken the lead in the first half through Benjamin Acquah were cruising to victory, but a late strike by Hafiz Konkoni ensured the game ended 1-1 stalemate.

It was Bechem United who started the game very and could have taken the lead in the 10 minute of the game, but Hafiz Konkoni’s effort was saved by Razak Issah.

It took time before the visitors came into the game and started making incursions.

The home team came close again in the 30th minute but Steven Owusu’s effort went wide.

Dwarfs took a surprise lead in the game in additional time, Benjamin Acquah capitalize from a mistake at the back to punish the home side.

In the second half it was all Bechem United as they pushed for the equalizer.

Steven Owusu came close but his shot was parried by the Impressive Razak Issah.

Bechem United after huffing and puffing finally got their reward in the 89th minute, Hafiz Konkoni connected from a cross on the right side to restore parity for the home side.
