Midfielder Richard Boadu scored his debut Ghana Premier League goal for Medeama in their 2-1 win over Asante Kotoko on Saturday.

The hard-working midfielder capped an impressive run of play after his deflected shot handed the Mauve and Yellow a precious 2-1 win over the Porcupine Warriors in Obuasi.

Boadu who was handed start due to the absence of Justice Blay was on top of his game on the day as he combined beautifully with Rashid Nortey to dominate the midfield.

The Kumasi-born midfielder will be hoping to fill the void left by Justice Blay as Medeama SC bid to win the Ghana Premier League.
