Nigeria legend Daniel Amokachi impressed with Victor Osimhen’s performance in draw against Ghana

Nigeria great, Daniel Amokachi praised striker Victor Osimhen last Tuesday for his performance in the Super Eagles draw against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The SSC Napoli man led the lines for his national team when the side played out a nervy 1-1 draw at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium in the second leg of the playoff tie of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Speaking to SuperSport, Daniel Amokachi said he was impressed with how Victor Osimhen led the attack of the Nigeria national team.

“Osimhen had a decent run behind the Ghana defence, he controlled the ball very, very well which is difficult.
“He hit across the goal, that was the sign that there was more to come that Nigeria can equalise any second because like I said earlier that bite after going down, definitely it helped in getting the equaliser,” the Super Eagles legend shared.
