‘Olympics didn’t deserve to win against us’ – Dreams FC coach
Dreams FC trainer Viric keeps grieving over his side’s defeat to Great Olympics in the first round of the Ghana Premier League at the Theatre of Dreams.
Following their stupendous performance in the Ghana Premier League this season, The Dade Boys have been tipped by many to win the league.
The Wonder Club before the end of the first round of the league piped Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams to keep their title hopes alive.
But Dreams FC trainer, Vladislav Viric, despite congratulating the Wonder Club for their win insists they did not deserve the win.
Viric believes that his side gifted the points to the visitors insisting their performance did not merit the three points.
“I’m not disappointed because we lost the game. I’m disappointed because they didn’t deserve to win. We helped them to win and that is my problem,” Viric said in an interview with footballmadeinghana.com
“Even if we are not able to win and we play good football, I am okay but we gave them the game.
“I was disappointed in myself and I hope I am not going to repeat again,” he noted.
Ahead of their first game in the second round, Viric says he’s still trying to recover from the game and hopes such mistakes do not happen again for his team to go down.
“I’m still trying to recover from that game because we had played well and lost the last game because of my fault.
“However, this defeat could be good for us because maybe we’re too happy winning our games and this is good for us,” he added.
Dreams FC take on Inter Allies at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday in their first game of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
