Ghana target Hudson Odoi begins individual training ahead of new season and 2022 World Cup
English-born Ghanaian Callum Hudson-Odoi has started individual training ahead of the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old season with Chelsea was plagued by injuries, with his last appearance coming on March 2 in an FA Cup game against Luton.
He suffered repeated setbacks in his rehabilitation programme from a lengthy Achilles injury almost three years ago.
Chelsea will travel to the United States for pre-season next month with the attacker set to make the trip as he nears a long-awaited return to action.
He is expected to make a decision on his international future as he considers to switch allegiance to Ghana ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.
Callum Hudson-Odoi was part of the Chelsea team that won the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup early this year.
He made only 15 English Premier League appearances in the just ended campaign.
