Thomas Partey earns high marks after good performance in Arsenal’s defeat to Liverpool

Ghana international, Thomas Partey put up a fine display on Wednesday night when his Arsenal outfit suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

The midfielder after his recent consistent outstanding form managed to secure a starting role in his team when the side hosted the title-chasing opponent at the Emirates.

Slotting into his regular midfield role, Thomas Partey put up a fine display as his defensive work saved Arsenal from danger on a number of occasions.

Despite his impressive displays, it was not enough as Liverpool scored twice to amass the maximum points.

On the matchday, there were no goals in the first 45 minutes. However, after recess, strikes from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino in the 54 and 62 minutes respectively handed the visitors a massive win.
