Valenciennes defender Emmanuel Ntim reacts to playing three matches in a week
Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Ntim has reacted to playing three matches for Valenciennes in just a week.
Valenciennes have had their Ligue games piled up as they play three matches in a week.
The club has already the shared spoils in their last two games, playing a 0-0 draw with Dijon and a 1-1 draw with Caen.
They will lock horns with Dunkerque on Saturday to complete their third game in a week.
The 26-year-old, who has been outstanding in the ongoing French Ligue, featuring 28 times and scoring 2 goals in the process says they have to give everything to the club.
“Yes, it’s complicated, that’s why I was doing a cold bath this morning (note: Monday morning). It’s not easy to play 90 minutes every time but I’m a professional, I have to do my best for the team”
“In our position, we have to give everything for the club. It’s hard, but it’s mental, it’s played a lot in the head” he said.
