VIDEO : I’m not at King Faisal to spoil my CV – Danlad Ibrahim
King Faisal goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has insisted he will do everything to save the club from relegation.
The on-loan Asante Kotoko goalkeeper put up a man of the match performance on Saturday as King Faisal were held to a goaless stalemate at home by Ashantigold.
Speaking to FootballMadeInGhana.com after the game, Danlad stated he is at the club to enrich his CV and not to spoil what he has already achieved in his young career.
“I don’t want to spoil my CV, we are here to help King Faisal as my coach said. We are here to help King Faisal and not to disgrace ourselves. We have a very good CV reason why the club brought us here. We will keep working hard and hopefully everything will be fine as soon as possible.
“We have been here for just few weeks. We are working toward what gaffer is teaching us. We know it will not come simple. It’s a gradual process, but I’m sure from the 5th match going everyone will see a different King Faisal”
King Faisal are 17th on the Ghana Premier League standing with 19 points after 20 games.
Danlad was voted the best goalkeeper in the 2021 U20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania.
