We are delighted with Baba Rahman’s signing, says Reading manager Veljko Paunovic

Reading FC manager, Veljko Paunovic says the club is pleased with the signing of Ghana international, Baba Abdul Rahman.

As reported by footballghana.com today, the English Championship side have signed the Black Stars full-back on a season-long loan from Premier League giants Chelsea.

Speaking on the latest arrival, Reading manager Veljko Paunovic said, “It is no secret that recruiting an experienced left-back was a priority for us this summer, so I am delighted that we have managed to do this deal to bring Baba to Reading.

The gaffer added, “He is a quick, strong, physical footballer who has a lot to offer to the club and the players around him. Baba was really keen to be part of our project and to test himself in this tough division and I am excited to see him playing for us.”

At Reading FC, Baba Rahman is expected to have a big role to play for the team in the 2021/2021 football season where they will be pushing to secure promotion at the end of the campaign.
