2021 AFCON: Rennes winger Sulemana can make the difference for Ghana - Former Arsenal midfielder Frimpong

Former Arsenal midfielder, Emmanuel Frimpong believes Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana can make the difference for Ghana at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

Sulemana has been one of the standout players for Rennes this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists so far.

The 19-year-old provided an assist to cap his man-of-the-match performance that helped Rennes hand PSG their only defeat in the league so far this term.

“I think Suleman Kamaldeen who plays for Rennes is a very good player and I think he is a player who can make the difference for Ghana,” the ex-Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers star told GOAL.

Frimpong, who was forced to an early retirement due to injury, made just an appearance for Ghana on the international scene after playing for England at the youth level.

Ghana have been paired with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros at the 33rd AFCON tournament.

Black Stars have already started camping for the 2021 AFCON in Doha, Qatar.

They will play two games to give coach Rajevac the opportunity to assess his squad.
