EXCLUSIVE: Samuel Boadu named Ghana U20 assistant coach
Hearts of Oak gaffer Samuel Boadu has been given a shot in the arm by the Ghana FA as he’s been named as the assistant to Ghana U20 coach Karim Zito.
Boadu replaces Karela United head coach Augustine Evans Adottey who as assistant to Zito.
Adottey was deputy to Karim Zito during the team’s triumphant conquest in the 2020 WAFU Championship as well as the U20 AFCON held in Mauritania last month.
Boadu who was the head coach of the national U15 is expected to employ his coaching experience at the youth level to assist Karim Zito.
The former Medeama SC trainer is the only addition to the technical team as all other members of the team have been maintained.
The new technical team of the Black Satellites will, thus, be as follows:
Abdul Karim Zito – Head Coach
Samuel Boadu – Assistant Coach
Abdul Fatawu Salifu – Assistant Coach
Jerry Asare – Goalkeepers Trainer
Dr. Opare Anim – Team Doctor
Roy Ricky Romeo – Physical Trainer
Gilbert Yankson – Physiotherapist
Emmanuel Tagoe – Welfare Officer
Charles Quartey – Equipment Officer
