Nowadays people appear in only 2 movies and pretend they’re also ‘super star celebs’
Award-winning movie personality Grace Omaboe known popularly as Maame Dokono has said that a lot of people showing off as female “celebrities” only acted in two movies and yet are so arrogant in an ungodly way.
According to her, in recent times, young ladies act in just two movies and project themselves as Super Stars which should never be the case.
She noted that such people now have to expose their nakedness, display their private lives on social media and always want to be in the news just so they are relevant.
To her, that is not what pleases God and such things will not last.
The veteran actress said it takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to achieve superstar status and therefore, the work should be pumped into the craft of actresses rather than the showoff they are engaged in in recent times.
“When I see them I’m shocked. Someone will act for just 6 months and see herself as a superstar. Now they call themselves celebrities. Then the bloggers too will be featuring them so they get naked, they want to even show off their shoes, cars, they take boyfriends and they show it, you cook whatever and you show it. You want people to know that you are there. That is not how God wants it,” she said on Accra-based Adom TV.
