Western Regional Police Commander, DCOP Felix Foster Agyemang has advised Ghanaians to avoid keeping large sums of money on them during this festive season.
During the end of year Thanksgiving Service of the Police service in the Western Region, the Police Commander, pleaded with citizens to desist from keeping large sums of money on them especially this festive season.
He advised that monies be kept in banks for safekeeping and to prevent any theft.
He also said as it is getting close to Christmas, everyone should be vigilant and report anything they find suspicious in their community to the Police and they will work towards it.
He later assured Ghanaians that the Police will be on guard this festive season to ensure the welfare of citizens.
