Hudson-Odoi undecided about nationality switch to play for Ghana
England forward, Callum Hudson-Odoi has disclosed that he is undecided about switching nationality to play for the Black Stars of Ghana.
Having gone through the ranks of the English Junior teams, the Chelsea attacker has already been capped by the Three Lions.
Unfortunately, he is not a regular in the team and is continuously left out of the England squad whenever there is an assignment due to the abundance of talent in the position he plays.
Asked in an interview after Chelsea’s club world cup triumph on whether he would play for England at World Cup in Qatar, he responded, “I don’t know. At the end of the day, we will wait until that time comes. At the same time, I’ve just got to focus on the club until we get that far.”
Sources report that the player is still considering the option of switching nationality to play for Ghana and a decision could be taken sooner than later.
