Ya-Naa Call for relocation of some ministries departments and institutional head offices to northern region.

Abukari Alhassan BabaNdan Ya-Naa Abukari II, the overlord of Dagbon has called on the government led by Nana Akufo-Addo to consider relocation of some of our head of ministry departments and institutional head offices in Accra and Kumasi to the five Northern regions to help eased the traffic congestions in the two cities and bridged the infrastructural gap between north and south.
The kingdom formed an integral of this country with great history of the impact of successive government and leadership of the country.
Contributions has been made by successive governments in the areas such as, education, health, agriculture, roads, transportation, commerce, peace and security and sports.
The contribution added to minimized modernization and urbanization gap between north and south. The projects such as the Tamale Inter-Change, Aliu Mahama sports stadium, Tamale airport expansion project, Eastern corridor road project, rural electrification and asphalted town roads.
The sod cutting of this Yendi- Tamale-Tatale road and previous development would not only Contributed towards the economic growth of the country but it would also make the region an alternative place to live by both Ghanaians and foreigners
The outstanding achievement of president Akufo-Addo in The kingdom in general cannot be described without mentioning the true and genuine peace and reconciliation he helped built in the kingdom.
He made this appealed during Yendi-Tamale-Tatale road sod cutting by the vice president, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
The Yendi-Tamale-Tatale road project are considered at the right time in view of the fact that easter corridor project is neared completion and would caused vehicular diversion from Tamale-Kumasi road towards the eastern part of the country. When the project is completed would boast the economic activities and reduced unemployment rate, the rate of road accidents, traveling time and minimized teachers lateness to school.
It would also improved the beauty of communities along the roads particularly the Yendi municipality.
He appealed to government to speed up on going road projects such as the dualization of Yendi town roads through the eastern corridor project, Yendi-Saboba road project, Gushegu-Karaga-Nanton-Tamale road project, Tali-Lingbung and other developmental projects in the northern hemisphere.
