The National Youth Authority secretariat of the Yendi Municipality, engaged stakeholders on the National Youth Policy frame work.
The meeting held at the Yendi Community Center on January 24, 2023 brought together some Heads of government Departments, Agencies, Traditional leaders, Municipal Police Command, NGOs, CSOs, Political parties, Philanthropists and Youth groups operating within the Municipality.
In his presentation, the Municipal Director, Mr. Abdul-Jalil Alhassan, introduce to the participants, the reviewed National Youth Policy of the National Youth Authority and appeal to the stakeholders for their maximum support and partnership, to help transform the lives and potentials of the young people within the Municipality. He also shared with the stakeholders, the Authority’s annual work plan for 2023.
Speaker upon speaker, all the participants pledge their unflinching support and cooperation, to partner with the Authority to be successful in delivering on their core mandate of facilitating Youth Development in the Municipality.
Speaking on behalf of the overload of Dagbon His Eminence Ya-Naa Abukari II, the Yani Kpihigi Naa. Assures the Authority, the maximum support and commitment of his office to ensure a smooth implementation of the National Youth Policy in the Yendi Municipality.
