GHAMRO is the most useless entity for artistes in Ghana
Denning Edem Hotor famously known as Edem as his stage name, a Ghanaian recording artist and entertainer, has fumed at the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO).
According to the ‘You Dey Craze’ hitmaker, GHAMRO which collects royalties on behalf of musicians in Ghana and disburses it to them is the the most useless entity in the country.
This comes after GHAMRO started sharing royalties to artistes who are registered members of the organization as part of the end of year disbursement in which some musicians got as little as GH¢153.27
Expressing his views on social media as sighted by MyNewsGh.com reporter Amansan Krakye, Edem wrote: ‘ No entity for Artiste in Ghana be useless pass “GHAMRO” on my Mama..on GOD”.
Meanwhile, the Board Chairman of GHAMRO, Rex Omar has recently replied his critics who always chastised him for chopping musicians money at the organization.
