Disgruntle policy holder of Ghana Life insurance call for national insurance commission intervention.
Alhassan Abdul Rahaman, a disgruntled customer of Ghana Life Insurance Company limited is accusing the company delayed tactics payment of his mature insurance policy.
According to him the delayed payment of his matured insurance policy funds comes after investing with the company for about 3 years.
He is a holder of an insurance investment policy known as the educational Policy for 3 years with the company.
The Ghana Life Insurance Company Limited has been in existence since 1980 without any problem of given out their services and productions including their educational, retirement, master plan and funeral investment policy among others.
But according to Alhassan Abdul Rahaman, the company has immensely delayed in the payment of his matured policies.
The company has been promising him and never for field the promises, he added that it has again give some of his colleagues cheque to cash the matured policy but the cheques were bounce.
“My policy mature on April 1, 2022, the claims were to be given in June but they have never paid me my claimed it is few more days to a year.”
The National Insurance Commission was established to regulate policies in the insurance sector but their duties to direct insurance policy companies has failed, he stated.
Mr. Abdul Rahaman said the national commission has told him that the company would pay him the claims but can not best tell when the payment would be done.
The above said information about the National Insurance Commission was through a popular social media platform known as WhatsApp, he contact them through the platform.
He therefore called on the national insurance commission to intervene in this issues to support them received the claims.
