My best friend took my girlfriend from me – Sam George

The Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prapram Constituency, Mr Samuel Nartey George affectionately called Sam George has opened up about his love life prior to meeting his life partner, Mrs Vera Nartey George.
Speaking on TV3 NewDay, Saint Valentine’s Day edition held at the Movenpick Hotel in Accra on February 14, monitored by GhanaPlus.com, he said he once experienced a broken heart.
Sam George said his best friend took his girlfriend from him when he was in the Junior High School 3(JHS 3)
“I had one broken heart. I was a child and that is what set me on that as far as a live a woman will not break my heart again. Charley, I was a child ooo, it was child’s play that is call love. I was in JHS 3 and by best friend took my girl,” he told the hosts of the programme, Bella Mundi, Johnnie Hughes and Cookie Tee.
“Herr, it pain me, the thing pain me ooo. I met the girl about three years ago in London and I said to her, she is called Dolce and said to her, Dolce you do me something oo,” Sam George said.
He made the comment when asked of how many broken heart he’s had or or vice versa.
February 14 every year is celebrated world wide as St Valentines Day or Feast of Valentine, a day which originated from a Christian feast day celebrating love.
It originated as a Christian feast day honoring one or two early Christian martyrs called Saint Valentine.
The day is however, celebrated in Ghana as chocolate day intended to promote Ghana’s rich cocoa products.
