Aisha Huang will remain in police custody for the following two weeks after the court denied her bail plea.
Since the Accra Circuit Court denied Aisha Huang’s bail request, she would stay in police prison for the ensuing two weeks.
In order to hold her for at least two weeks while conducting additional investigations, prosecutors were able to convince the Accra Circuit Court to extend an arrest warrant.
This morning, Miss Huang’s attorneys presented a compelling case for the client to be granted bail. Miss Huang is accused of mining without a permit.
Additionally, they expressed their displeasure with the way state security treated their client during her return in 2018 and said that it was unfair.
