A founding member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Goosie Tanoh has urged the children of the late former President, Flt Ltd Jerry John Rawlings Rtd to be proud that they were the descendant of a man of such caliber.
The astute politician and businessman in a tweet on Wednesday, January 27 said J. J Rawlings has left huge strides of footprints in the country’s history and that was something his widow, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, and his children, Zenator, Yaa Asantewaa, Amina and Kamathi should be proud of.
He expressed his heartfelt condolence to J.J Rawlings’ three daughters whom he described as god-daughers, his widow and his only son.
“My heart goes out to Nana Konadu, my god-daughter Zanetor, Yaa Asantewaa, Amina, and Kimathi in these times. Be proud, you are offshoots of a truly great man, one who has left huge strides and footprints in the sands of time. #RawlingsGoesHome,” his tweet reads.
He shared the comment together with himself signing the book of condolence opened in honour of the late J.J Rawlings and another believed to be one of the activities in honour of the late Ghana’s former President and first President of the fourth Republic, Flt Ltd J.J Rawlings.
