Bulletproof charms are real, only good ‘juju men’ can do it – Kwaku Bonsam – Skyy Power FM
Renowned Ghanaian chief priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam has thrown his two cents on the Ayiem viral video where a 28-year-old man was shot dead after his alleged bulletproof charm failed to save him.
The video that has caught nationwide attention saw two men testing their bulletproof charm effectiveness in front of a shotgun but in a twist of event, one of the victims met his untimely death when the trigger was pulled.
The unfortunate incident that happened at Ayiem, a community in the Mpohor District of the Western Region has led to the arrest of one suspect as the police are on a manhunt for other suspects who appeared in the viral video.
Speaking on Skyy Power FM’s Jolly Breakfast Show on Tuesday, August 29, Nana Kwaku Bonsam testified that bulletproof charms are real, but it depends on the native doctor who performs the fortification.
According to him, he has prepared bulletproof and knife-proof charms for his customers that work perfectly fine but it turns to fail when inexperienced and fake native doctors do it for people.
He said, “Bulletproof charms are real, native doctors normally prepare it with pawpaw trees and after the preparation, they will fire a gun into the pawpaw tree… When the gun fails to penetrate the tree, then it means it is working before they try it on the real human being.”
“I believe these guys went to the wrong native doctors to fortify them… sometimes what these charms hate is a challenge and I believe it is one of the reasons it penetrated the victim.”
Nana Kwaku Bonsam called for the arrest of the said native doctor who prepared the charm for the victim and also the suspects who appeared in the video.
