Construction of nurses' bungalow, market and boreholes in EKMA in the pipeline



The Effia Kwesimintsim Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr Kojo Acquah says the assembly will soon embark on a massive infrastructure drive in some selected communities in the Municipality.

Among them is the construction of a nurses’ bungalow for the Adientem CHPS Compound, expansion of Assakae market, a new police post at Apremdo and provision of boreholes in some 5 communities to provide good drinking water.

The MCE gave this account to Skyy News at the Second Ordinary meeting of the third session of the Assembly on Thursday, July 28.

He said, all the projects will be funded by the Assembly Common Fund.

The MCE also commended the Assembly members for their cooperation and called for a deeper collaboration as the assembly seeks to improve the living conditions of the people in the Municipality.
