The District Chief Executive of the Shama District, Mr Ebenezer Dadzie is calling for unity among the people in the District.
He says the people of the Shama District must put behind their political differences and support the leaders in the district, be it the Member of Parliament (MP), DCE, Traditional leaders and the Assembly Members, to have a united voice and call for development.
Mr Ebenezer Dadzie says it is through unity and support that the Shama District can call for development.
He was speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony of the newly built 2-unit classroom block for Anto-Aboso D/A KG school in the Shama District on Thursday, August 31.
He said, “Let’s put behind our differences, be it politics or the community we are coming from, let’s see ourselves as one people and support each other to develop our district.”
“Nobody can develop our district for us, only we the people of Shama can develop our district, so we all should contribute and do our best because not only one person can develop the district.”
“Unity must be our priority, when we become divided, whatever we are looking for cannot be achieved.”
