Diana Adjei of Aseda Foundation steps down in NPP women organiser race

Madam Diana Adjei, popularly known as the founder of Aseda Foundation in Sekondi-Takoradi has stepped down in the race to contend for NPP Women Organiser at the regional level.

Madam Adjei who was one of the favourites candidate competing for that position shockingly stepped down.

However, she has not given any explanation for her decision but has rallied support behind her arch-rival, Madam Abena Kwalleh.

In declaring her support, she wrote:

I humbly want to use this opportunity to thank everyone for the love, time, prayers and supports you have shown me through my journey as a Western Regional Women’s Organizer Hopeful.
I appreciate you all for the work done.

Today I come before you in God’s name and the love I have for our great party NPP, to communicate to my loved ones and families that, I have decided not to contest the elections.

I have however decided to use my strength and knowledge to support our own mother Hon. Abena Kwallah in this upcoming election.

I humbly plead with all my loved ones to accept this in good faith and support Obantanpa Abena Kwallah to win this election to break the 8 for our dear party.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused but my doors are always open and we are ever ready to accept your contributions and inputs.
