Don't see Okada business as sustainable venture

Chief of Wassa Odumase in the Wassa East District of the Western Region Nana Gyenin Kontankoh Ababio II has appealed to the youth particularly students in the community not to see okada business as a sustainable venture but as a springboard to financially help them attain higher education.

Okada Business is one of the major sources of employment for the people in the community, especially the youth.

He advised parents to encourage their wards to have enough time for their education rather than buying motorcycles for them for the okada business.

Nana Ababio made this call when he donated two bags of rice, gallons of edible oil, thin tomatoes, a set of jerseys and GHC1,000 cash to the Asuminam-Odumase D/A Basic school ahead of the inter-basic school sports competition in the district.
